WattShed Guard

Live, self-serve

Walk the home once, and keep what you saw.

Guard replaces the paper walkthrough that gets lost between the visit and the decision. It is a structured, observational health-and-safety checklist across combustion safety, moisture, electrical, ventilation, and general conditions: the categories weatherization practice publicly describes. Judgments are observational (OK, concern, not inspected, not applicable) and any measured values belong to the program's own testing procedures. A concern in a critical category points straight at the deferral decision, and the whole walkthrough prints as the record.

What it does.

  • Structures the walkthrough as an observational checklist across the five health-and-safety categories.

  • Tracks concerns with notes and measured values the program's own procedures govern.

  • Shows completion honestly: what was inspected, and what never was.

  • Indicates when concerns in critical categories point at a deferral decision, and hands off to the deferral tracker.

  • Prints and exports the walkthrough as the record. Nothing entered leaves the browser.

Who it is for.

Weatherization crews and auditors

Capture the walkthrough once, in the same structure every visit, instead of on whatever paper was in the truck.

Program administrators

Get deferral decisions with a documented walkthrough behind them instead of a verbal recollection.

Utilities and public program administrators

Show a monitoring review the health-and-safety record for any visit, in one consistent form.

How it works.

01

Walk the categories

Combustion, moisture, electrical, ventilation, general. Every item is an observation, not a test value.

02

Record the concerns

Notes and measured values attach to each concern, governed by your program's own procedures.

03

Keep the record

Print or export the walkthrough, and take critical concerns straight to the deferral queue.

What it does, and what it deliberately does not.

Guard does

Documents an observational walkthrough in a consistent structure

Guard does not

Does not certify safety or replace the program's own testing procedures

Guard does

Flags concerns that point at a deferral decision

Guard does not

Does not store anything or make the deferral decision itself

Availability.

The walkthrough is live today as a public self-serve tool, no account required, nothing stored. Walkthrough records wired to a live program's case files are arranged with WattShed directly.
