WattShed Assess

Live, self-serve

Describe a home. See what the measures are worth.

Assess runs one home through the same engine that prices every WattShed program: deemed savings where a technical reference manual applies, physics-based estimates everywhere else. Describe the home, and each eligible measure comes back with its modeled annual savings and peak relief, labeled simulated because a described home is not a measured one. It is the assessment step of the platform, offered on its own.

What it does.

  • Prices each measure for one described home using the platform's engine, never a separate calculator.

  • Uses the county's own climate data, loaded the same way the program designer loads it.

  • Returns per-measure annual savings and estimated peak relief, with the engine's baseline notes attached.

  • Labels every figure simulated, and states plainly that a described home is not a measured one.

  • Runs in the browser. Nothing is stored and no account exists.

Who it is for.

Contractors and auditors

Put an engine-priced estimate behind a walkthrough, with the assumptions attached rather than implied.

Funders scoping a program

Sanity-check what a typical home in the target area is worth in savings before setting incentive levels.

Utilities and public program administrators

Give residents and field staff one consistent assessment surface instead of competing spreadsheets.

How it works.

01

Pick the county

The engine loads that county's climate data, the same shards the program designer uses.

02

Describe the home

Size, vintage, insulation, and equipment. Only fields the engine actually consumes are asked.

03

Read the measures

Per-measure savings and peak relief, each labeled simulated, with the engine's notes attached.

What it does, and what it deliberately does not.

Assess does

Prices measures for a described home on the platform engine

Assess does not

Does not treat a description as a measured or verified home

Assess does

Shows its methodology path and baseline notes

Assess does not

Does not guarantee savings or replace program verification

Availability.

The assessment is live today as a public self-serve tool, no account required, nothing stored. Assessment wired into a live program's intake and evidence flow is arranged with WattShed directly.
