WattShed Attest

Live, self-serve

Fix the facts of a completed case, and prove they never moved.

Attest gives a funder the plainest possible answer to an auditor's hardest question: are these the same numbers you had then. Enter a completed case's key facts, and the browser canonicalizes and fingerprints them into a serial. Anyone holding the record can re-enter the same facts later and get the same serial; any changed field produces a different one. The stamp proves the fields match a record the holder kept. It does not prove the facts are true, it is not a registry, and WattShed stores nothing.

What it does.

  • Canonicalizes a case's key facts and fingerprints them into a serial, entirely in the browser.

  • Verifies a record by recomputation: the same facts reproduce the same serial, any change does not.

  • Produces a printable audit record and a downloadable copy the funder keeps.

  • States on the record exactly what a stamp proves and what it does not.

  • Stores nothing anywhere. The holder's copy is the record.

Who it is for.

Funders under audit obligations

Show that a case's claimed figures are the ones fixed at completion, not a later edit.

Utilities and public program administrators

Keep an internal one-claim discipline across programs without standing up any new system.

Program auditors

Check a produced record against its serial in seconds, with arithmetic instead of trust.

How it works.

01

Stamp the case

Project, program, verified savings, and completion date, fingerprinted in the browser.

02

Keep the record

Print it or download it. WattShed keeps nothing, so the holder's copy is the record.

03

Verify by re-entry

The same facts reproduce the same serial. A changed field, even slightly, does not.

What it does, and what it deliberately does not.

Attest does

Fingerprints and re-verifies the facts a funder enters

Attest does not

Does not prove the facts are true or verify the underlying work

Attest does

Produces a record the holder keeps

Attest does not

Does not store anything or operate any registry

Availability.

The audit stamp is live today as a public self-serve tool, no account required, nothing stored. Stamping wired into a live program's completion flow is arranged with WattShed directly.
