Live, self-serveCheck a photo's capture story before you rely on it.
Liveness answers a narrow, expensive question: was this photo actually taken where and when the claim says it was. The capture check reads a photo's own capture metadata and reports deterministic signals: capture time against a freshness threshold, GPS position against an expected location and radius, device consistency and session span across a set, and any processing software the file records. For cases that need direct observation, a live-video inspection puts a reviewer on a scheduled video session with the person on site. Either mode stands alone, and together they bracket the evidence question from both sides.
What it does.
Reads capture time, GPS position, device, and processing software from a photo's own metadata, in memory, storing nothing.
Reports each check as a plain signal: pass, flag, or absent, with the threshold stated next to the result.
Checks a whole photo set as one session: device consistency and time span across every file.
Treats absent metadata as absent, never as fraud. Messaging apps and screenshots strip metadata routinely, and the report says so.
Runs a live capture session on request: the server issues a one-time camera-switching pattern, the phone records it segment by segment, and the pattern's own execution and timing become the verification.
Adds a scheduled live-video inspection mode, arranged per program, for work that warrants direct observation.
