Choose a utility CSV download or a Green Button XML export. This tool parses the file you supply, in this browser, and reports its interval cadence, its span, every gap and duplicate, and a 24-hour load shape, computed entirely from what the file contains. Nothing is uploaded.
Green Button exports vary from utility to utility, and a CSV's columns are only as good as the export that produced them. This tool never guesses at a reading it cannot parse: an unreadable block is counted and reported, not filled in, and a gap in the data stays a gap in the report.
Use this before you trust a file for anything downstream, comparable-day baselining included. A clean read here is not proof the meter never missed a reading; it is a record of what this file, as supplied, actually contains.

Utility CSV downloads
A comma-separated interval export with a header row. Map the timestamp and kWh columns yourself; this tool offers a best guess from the header names, never a silent assumption.
Green Button XML
A Green Button (ESPI) export, parsed directly, no column mapping needed. Green Button exports vary by utility, and a block this tool cannot read is counted as unreadable and reported, never guessed at or skipped in silence.
What it never does
It never fetches anything from a utility, a Green Button connector, or any other account, and it never estimates or fills in a missing reading. A gap in the file is reported as a gap, with its start, its end, and how many readings are missing, not smoothed over.
What it never claims
The quality and shape figures below describe the file exactly as supplied, nothing more. They are not a bill reconciliation, not a substitute for the utility's own record, and not a claim about what the meter actually recorded beyond what this file contains.
Nothing beyond the readings this tool needs is read for this report. A meter export can carry an account number or a service address alongside the interval data; that column loads into this browser tab like the rest of the file and is never sent anywhere, but you are still handling that data, so treat the file the way your program already requires.
