WattShed Itemize

Live, self-serve

A quote the homeowner can actually read.

Itemize structures the quote most homeowners never quite get: each measure's gross cost, every incentive named by its source and its timing, and the two numbers that actually matter, what you pay today and what it becomes once rebates arrive. The gap between those two, the fronted amount, is the number quotes usually blur, and Itemize shows it by name. The terms come from the program's own documents as the contractor enters them; WattShed verifies none of it, and a readable quote is a presentation, not an approval.

What it does.

  • Structures a quote per measure: gross cost, incentives by source, net today, net after rebates.

  • Labels every incentive's timing: an instant discount or a rebate the homeowner waits for.

  • Names the fronted amount plainly, the money carried until rebates arrive.

  • Prints as a clean quote document the contractor can hand over.

  • Runs in the browser on entered terms. Nothing verified, nothing stored.

Who it is for.

Contractors quoting program work

Hand over a quote whose incentive math the homeowner can follow line by line.

Homeowners reading a quote

See what you pay today, what arrives later, and who actually pays each incentive.

Utilities and public program administrators

Point participating contractors at one readable quote format instead of policing formats.

How it works.

01

Enter the lines

Each measure with its gross cost and the incentives that apply, from the program's own terms.

02

Label the timing

Instant discounts and later rebates stay separate, so the fronted amount is visible.

03

Hand it over

A printable quote with today's number and the after-rebates number clearly apart.

What it does, and what it deliberately does not.

Itemize does

Presents the quote's arithmetic readably

Itemize does not

Does not verify terms or approve the quote

Itemize does

Names the fronted amount and every incentive's payer

Itemize does not

Does not store anything or promise incentive availability
