WattShed Signal

Run fraud-risk signals on evidence photos, before you rely on them.

This reads risk signals out of the photos themselves. It is not proof, and it is not an accusation. A clean report does not confirm a claim, and a flagged one is a reason to look closer, not a verdict on anyone.

Everything runs in this browser tab: photos are hashed, read for metadata, and decoded to a small comparison thumbnail on your device. Nothing is uploaded, sent to a server, or stored. Close the tab and it's gone.

Add photos for Application A, and, if you have a second application to compare, for Application B too. The two-application comparison exists to catch evidence recycled between applications: a photo submitted twice, under a different name or a different claimed date.

How many distinct devices the batch's metadata points to, and whether that count makes sense for one piece of evidence.

Chronology

Whether the capture times across a batch, and across the two applications, tell a sequence that holds together.

Location and GPS are deliberately not part of this analysis. Nothing here reads, compares, or reports on where a photo was taken.

Each signal reports pass, flag, or absent. A flag means worth a second look, not a finding. Use this alongside your own judgment and, where it matters, a direct conversation with whoever submitted the photos.
